Graduate Studies in the School of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh provides students with access to world-class faculty and outstanding research. Our graduate programs are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive academic community.  Opportunities for research training are avaialble in 11 PhD, 4 Master of Science, and 4 certificate programs. The training faculty of these graduate programs are drawn from various departments throughout the School of Medicine. The Office of Graduate Studies is responsible for oversight of all graduate training programs. The Graduate Office coordinates admissions, program administration, and student support services by working closely with graduate students, the faculty, program adminstrators, and other Schools and Offices within the University.
