- Biomedical Informatics
The Masters degree is viewed as a pleuripotential experience that offers a flexible program accommodating students entering with a variety of backgrounds and career goals, including an academic career for a doctorally-prepared health professional.
- Biomedical Sciences
The University of Pittsburgh Biomedical Sciences Master's Program (BMP) aims to prepare future health sciences professionals and biomedical investigators with the training necessary for successful application to medical, dental, or graduate school. The BMP is a structured 32 credit-hour program designed to be completed in a 12-month period. Extended enrollment for up to 24 months will be considered for students requiring flexible part-time schedules. The program begins each fall term.
- Computational Biomedicine and Biotechnology
The newly launched Computational Biomedicine and Biotechnology (COBB) Master’s program generates leaders who can translate cutting-edge computational technologies into real-world advances in biomedicine and biotechnology.
- Clinical Research
The Masters of Science in Clinical Research prepares health care professionals to engage successfully in the conduct of clinical research. Trainees complete the core curriculum, a 2-semester research design and development seminar, and the requirements for one of several specialty tracks that focus on research methodologies.
- Medical Education
The Masters of Science in Medical Education prepares academically oriented health care professionals to become outstanding teachers, as well as practitioners, of medicine and other health-related professions. The program includes 30 credits of required courses, electives, and an independent project.
